HTML BuddyLite is a utility for web developers. It will
protect your HTML code (with two algorithms) or password protect it! It
also will optionally add some "tricks" to your web page such as stopping
right clicks and disabling text selection and/or printing, along with
several more.

Features
- 3 levels of HTML encoding are possible:
- Simple: Performs
a simple JavaScript encoding on the input HTM* file. This offers
only marginal security, primarily from viewing the page source
code as text.
- Complicated: Performs a more involved
JavaScript encoding on the HTM* file. This offers better
security and smaller file size than the "Simple" option.
- Password Protected: Performs an
encoding with a password for the input HTM* file. This offers
the best security available in this free utility. If an
incorrect password is entered, then the web page will still
load, but garbage will be displayed. The password is not stored
in the HTML code.
- Mouse click options available:
- Enable all mouse clicks
- Stop left clicks
- Stop right clicks
- Stop all clicks
- Text selection options available:
- Enable / Disable text selection
- Context menu options available:
- Enable / Disable context menu
- Page caching options available:
- Enable / Disable page caching
- Printing options available:
- Enable / Disable printing of web page
- IE6 image toolbar:
- Enable / Disable IE6 image toolbar
- Of course, the above "tricks" require
that JavaScript be installed on the client's computer, and
work primarily with Internet Explorer (IE), although other
browsers are untested and might work.
HTML BuddyLite is absolutely free, even
for commercial uses. However, since it's free there is no
guaranteed support provided, we will try and answer
questions time permitting. Use it at your own risk. |
