EasyBackup is designed to backup files and folders, with or without
compressing the data. Data can be backed up to local or network drives
or to a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site. Compressed backup files are
in the ZIP format, which is an industry standard that most compression
programs, such as the ever popular WinZip, can read and write. For data
which is not compressed, the files are simply copied to the backup
destination in an unaltered state (individual file date and time stamps
can even be preserved if so desired).
